I have a problem now. I deleted the original pysafe (including the database - pysafe.db) and now when I reinstall the programme asks me for my password and then tells me it cannot find the database and closes down. Obviously some settings are staying behind so it is not creating a new database. Can you tell me how to fix this?

Cheers,

Barrie
Can someone suggest something please??

the new extension for the database is .sqlite
the import wizard asked you for the new location, where did you put it?

No, it did not ask me for anything....... Even tried reinstalling but same happens - opens the dialogue asking for password and then tells me it cannot find the database.

you're right, it asks for a password even if there is no database, then looks for the database to compare passwords, and if it doesn't find it should ask to create one.

Yeah, that's what I thought, but it tells me it cannot find the database (pysafe.db) does not create a new one, just shuts down.

Ok...I reflashed my N900 and tested the package dependencies. Now the program install and run flawlessly in a clean device.

Just remove the config file ".pysafe.conf" in /home/user, and start the program.

my update says it's going to install PyQt4 (4.7.3-maemo5), is that right?

Hi, great application! I love it. And switch to new database seemed to have run without problems. But I must confesss, I can't control it, because I didn't count the entries in the old DB. As long as I don't miss an entry everything will be fine.

New layout looks good.

That's testing version of QT, right? Didn't get installed on my device.

Mine said the same thing. I installed it, then tried to update pySafe.

PySafe description states that it is "updatable", but during the update, a yellow notification bar pops up and states that the installation failed.
