Today after being plugged into my pc the display of my N900 went black. Tried rebooting the thing a dozen of times and trying to wank the keyboard locker back and forth with no results. It turns on and plays the nokia tune and everything. I got it to display the Nokia logo a few times so I guess the display itself isn't broken.
Also I have to press to power button almost a dozen of times until it boots. The device still responses to touch.
The biggest issue here I think is that it won't connect to my computer via USB. It says "Connected in non-compatible mode". This means I'm unable to flash it. Doesn't work even though the phone is turned off
Tried searching the forum with no results. Anyone got any hints? I'm getting desperate here
