Hi

Guys i had posted this problem before but didnt any response, this is very important for me

I have a secured PDF file but when i open it with the stock PDF reader in the N900 it does not open and says encrypted file and asks for a password which obviously i dont have. The same file opens in my laptop and Omnia windows mobile.

Please someone help me on this, is there a security setting which i can change

Thank you

Just a workaround... You could try opening it with some other app... like either fb reader or mgutenberg reader. I think both of them support pdf.

You may try to decript the file on your laptop with pdftk:

Try this line:

pdftk Notes.pdf output decrypted.pdf

When prompted for a password, just press enter (assuming that the password is blank if you could open the file without it).

I assume you tried hitting Enter when the stock .pdf reader asked for your password?

Did you try Evince?
