Hey guys, I finally got the n800, and I love it, ocassionaly restarts, but oh well.
But I have one problem, I had expected to install many games, (I bought 2 8Gb SD Cards), but I cant seem to be able to install battlegweled, Im really looking forward to it, but when I click it, it opens the application manager, thinks for a bit, and says the catalog cant be refreshed, something like that.
Can I manually add the repository, or whatever the name is? Or how can I get it otherwise?

Thanks!

Browse to this site using the built-in web browser on the N800 and click on the fourth battlegeweled file (the .deb file), save it and open it and then you'll get the installation dialog.

Also check out this list of N800 repositories.

I really don't understand this issue of libxau0 not being in the default repositories. Can someone explain that one to me?

Also, how the heck do you play against others? I have looked all over and all I can find is others asking the same question...

It's screwed up. Ask on the developer's mailing list. Probably because they consider it to be a red-pill-only type of lib.
I do know that the Maemo folks are looking at setting up a "testbed" repository for us all to use sometime in the future.

Dang! I couldnt do it!!

It said I had library packets missing, or something like that; libsdl-net1.2, libxau0, and maemo-games-startup. I tried all of the links for maemo games startup in the page you gave me but none worked.

Yay!!

Scratch that, I did it!
I instead used one of the repositories from the other page you gave me, and everything worked awesome.
And I loved too!
Thanks, you made my week, and to show my appreciation, a personal invitation to my advice forum, where we sort of help people when they have a problem of any nature.

Thanks Again!

Ricky-

Which repo did you use to get it to install? I ran into this problem as well and adding the INDT Games repo and trying to install even in red pill mode hasn't worked. Thanks.
