I'm not sure if I'm in the detractors camp.. overall, I'm not a fan of the N900 and Maemo 5 itself is pretty good. I personally come here repeatedly in the hopes of finding something relevant and new regarding either the N800 I already have or for a suitable new upgrade (which the N900 is not).
I'm here because of my N810, the fact that Diablo isn't fully open sourced yet - closed bits are in the way of many updates and Nokia has a WONTFIX mentality that annoys me to a new level - and (had) hopes that Maemo 5 would get me away from other, more closed options.
Hasn't happened for me. The other folks though... I will say one thing. If I were to ever troll any place, I would troll the hell out of here. Or perhaps Disney.
If somebody strolls into the heavily utilized (one of the biggest forums on the internet) Disney forums and say something negative about Disney, they are absolutely swarmed with death threats.
Here... same thing. If people were to react less and ignore that type of behavior, it might curb that kind of stuff from happening.
