I ordered on the 7, so I now anxiously await the email from Nokia.

I already got an email from Amex that my card was charged. That was yesterday, so I know Nokia has my money!

I have just called Nokia and they told me that somehow my order got stuck in a back order loop. They will try to ship out my order today and will call me when it is shipped.

I recommend everyone who has ordered their Nokia in December to call.

From what I've read, they don't charge you until your order is processed and shipped. Maybe you just haven't received the email yet.

Well, I'm glad you made some progress on it. They should ship yours for free, overnight, for that delay!

Actually, they charged me yesterday. I got this email today:

We are very sorry for the inconvenience. There has been an unforeseen delay in the processing of orders placed between 01/04/06 and 01/08/06. The issue has been remedied and you will receive order and shipping confirmation e-mails to keep you apprised of your order's progress. Again, we sincerely apologize for the delay.

I got the "We are very sorry..." email 13 hours AFTER I got my email confirming shipment. It kinda freaked me out.

If they charged you, my bet is it's out the door and on it's way.

Hi everyone. I just called to cancel my order at NokiaUSA which was due to ship tomorrow. I also ordered from CompUSA business to hedge my bets and CompUSA business won the race (by a nose). So my experience with Nokia is 2 days to process, and maybe 1 to ship. My (wild) guess is that they are meeting demand now!
