you wont get a true 720p quality with software only, a proper hardware is a must!!

hmm N900 screen resolution is 800x480 So why on earth you would like to run higher than that resolution? Actually it´s waste of processing power to even encode/play stuff at optimal resolution because major part of people do not even recognize if they are watching video that is encoded in 640x384 or 800x480 on that small screen

What did I miss? It looks like it's recording and even a different phone than the N900.
