I know Tigerdirect has sold out, I see buy.com has them, jr.com, datavis.com, and etronics.com. Not too mention amazon and Nokia.com but nokia still wants like 270~$! Keep looking
next year to get the new tablet that's gonna have WiMAX
Slight diversion but....are we sure the N800 isn't already equipped for WiMax. Didn't the FCC filing not an odd freq range plus wasn't there a mention of another hidden goody in the N800? Just a thought.

Ok, Thanks for the Encouragement everyone. I'm actually not afraid of buying one of these used ones, as they are both local (to me) sales. And I get to haggle. I just need to get an IT already! I've been thinking about for a whole year and a half!
I´m a Portuguese IT and i just buy a n770 on ebay for £109 , if the price was the same that the 800 is now , probaly i still stay without this gadget , but for this price lets go !!! lol
Another thing i program and i´m in various projects in python and c , and i´m just whaiting for the n770 arrive at home to start analize the apis and libraries to compile some programs that i´m going to put over the n770 , is sad that nokia don´t comercialize this models over portugal .
The nokia that i buy is still closed in box with seal from nokia , the seller allready sell 6 and just have 4 , more cheap = more users = more open source.
Sorry about the typos and i hope to be welcome to this comunity

That's possible, but I think highly unlikely. I don't think Nokia would have included an (as yet) unusable antenna well over a year before deciding to actually use it. Yeah, I know the FM radio was "found" by curious minds a while after the device was on the market, but that spectrum has been around a lot longer.
I don't know of any other goodies that the N800 might hold either, as I don't have one, but Nokia has been good at keeping secrets and throwing us surprises from time to time.
