The basic matter, it seems, is that this phone doesn't suit your personality. So what? This has happened to me before, I was a very dissatisfied Windows Mobile and iPhone user. Terrible devices for me.

So complain all you want, yes people here (and anywhere) can be jerks, but move on. Find a phone that you like, or make the N900 into one you do like. The freedom is all yours.
I have to laugh at the comments made here as i do find them hilarious.

If anyone had realised the problems of the FLAGSHIP N900 Nokia portrayed it as in the masssive marketing campaign they did then i am sure it would never have taken off at all.
Ah well all good fun aye lol.

What marketing?

Additionally, the N900 is not Nokia's flagship. Nokia certainly AFAIK never said that!

I'm not in the UK. The world is not UK alone, TYVM.

If you would notice... Nokia didn't call it a flagship. The journalists did.

Unless Journalists = Nokia, then I have nothing more to speak on the matter.

And there you have the most important point in all of this:

Are you, I or any other user on this forum responsible for how NOKIA marketed the N900?

The answer is not hard to figure out: No, we aren't.

So, with that in mind, it really is a matter of potential buyers either trusting the marketing drive or doing themselves a service and google the device before purchasing. As with any purchase, being an informed customer is a good thing.

This leads back to the OP who, apparently, didn't do her homework, paid a lot of money and ended up with a device that's not fitting her very well. To then be told "You should have done your homework!" is not very constructive. Actually, "Sell it and buy something that fits you better." is the most constructive thing in this situation. OP might not get all her money back, but it'll have been a learning experience.

To, over and over, start threads and complain here is to bark up the wrong proverbial tree. None of the cats in it cares and they are busy licking their devices.
