They repair it, but if the repair and labour cost is too high they would just send a new one if it's under warranty, i wouldn't worry about them sending refurb ones because the N900 is rather new so they wouldn't yet have a stock of refrub ones, but i could be wrong, even if they send a refurb one that looked bad you can just complain to get a new one
