... loving the colour! ... especially that blue! ... and love how easy it is to work up from a sketch to a tighter style ...

(And incase anyone else is wondering it's easy enough to extract the transparent .png files from the MyPaint .ora files ... just change the .ora extension to .zip and unzip the folder ... within the Data folder will be a .png file for each of your layers ... (if you want the whole image in one .png make sure to flatten the layers first!) ... enjoy!)

wow the work here is top quality. I finger painted with the easy brushes and could only came up with this uninspired tree. I think I may have also zoomed in without realizing and left the edges of my canvas empty : P

mypaint is a top notch app.

@ slaxe, some how I don't think it will be an epic failure..lol. plus thats the beauty of layers....right you can build it up.. it looking good so far.

@Cue, nice tree. once you get the hang of mypaint you'll be drawing master pieces...

@Tone, your new brush are great! Love the way you can start with you finger on some of them, then blending it with the pen, it like w brushes for ever 1 brush. Now slow down with the brush dammit I'm trying to learn how to use them all .... lol

so here is my latest drawing.

Wow, there's some REALLY great pictures in here!

Never thought it would be possible to draw like that on a little phone screen, but the pressure sensitive brushes turn it into quite the great canvas - and there I thought Art Academy on the DSi already was amazing...

Haven't drawn in ages, but hopefully I'll find more time for doodling and scribbling now that I always have "pencil and paper" in my pocket.

Here's my first two "masterpieces"

... goodness I am still totally addicted to MyPaint ... I haven't drawn for so long, yet this app makes it so easy, and so much fun to draw I don't see myself stopping again anytime soon ...

... what I particularly love is the number of styles it opens up to me ... before mypaint I was pretty limited to pencil unless I spent ages in Illustrator/photoshop ... but MyPaint seems to be able to produce a whole heap of different results depending on what brushes you feel like using, and I don't think I've properly tried more than 5% ... not to mention the ability to create your own brushes! (Although I've yet to work out how to add previews to my own brushes. any tips?)

... very glad I'm not the only one loving this! Am really enjoying seeing all the pics people are producing, and what a varied variety of styles there are out there!
