Either his router is an modem+router or his modem is transparent. In either case, he's trying to set up a firewall rule in the router to let his N900 and only his N900 through to the internal network.

mornage: yes, he needs a way to get a static IP while not at home. I don't think any mobile carrier is assigning static IPs. So I'd say the only way is using a proxy/tunnel to connect to an intermediate system (with a static IP) to connect to the DVBViewer.

Ahhh, now that makes sense. Sorry for my confusion.

If his router was a linux server, I believe this could have been done with clever use of certificates instead of IP rules... But it doesn't appear so from the description.

Linux routers are good. I use DD-WRT on my Linksys with OpenVPN, thus ensuring my N900's IP is always a fixed address on my home network and I never have to worry about opening ports.

Not DD-WRT but I use olegs custom firmware on my WL-500... so much that old thing can do, I would not be happy with most newer non-open routers.

this seem difficult to specify, but mornage seems to know what I'm trying to do. It seems that the proxy/tunnel is the only way.
Please give me simple instructions on how to try to set up that kind of system

I think the first thing I'd try to find out if I was you, is if anyone has had success with streaming over such a tunnel. I am not certain that you'd be able to get the kind of speeds required.
