I have reflashed my N900 all afternoon non, & although it says its worked it hasnt

I've used the Wiki & followed all the instructions

To summarise it briefly i've used the following commands/updates:

cd "%ProgramFiles%\maemo\flasher-3.5"

flasher-3.5.exe -F RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin -f

flasher-3.5.exe -F RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.19-1.203.1_PR_COMBINED_203_ARM.bin -f -R

& although it seems to tell me its worked, it really hasnt - all my 3rd part apps etc are still on the phone & the software version in the About Product under Settings shows 3.2010.02-8 when it should be 10.2010.19-1 from what i gather

im at an absolute loss of what to do - can anyone help?

Flash the images the other way round. The first image (OS), flash it without the -R (reboot) flag at the end. Right after flashing the OS, flash the eMMC with the -R flag at the end or reboot manually. Doesn't really matter.

Edit: wait, I think I'm wrong. I'll check my own flasher directory on how I do it... Gimme just a sec...

Edit: Interestingly enough I always did it the other way round. I first flashed the OS (~180MB) and then the eMMC (~250MB). It always worked, the device was fresh and clean afterwards.

However, how long does your flasing process take? About 5-10 minutes per image?
And did you place the image files you downloaded into your \maemo\flasher*\ folder? If not, you obviously have to point the flasher at the files you intend to use. If you, for example, put them onto your desktop (Windows Vista/7) the path will be something alon the lines of

flasher-3.5 -F c:\users\[Username]\Desktop\RX-51_2010_etcetc.bin -f

And did you unplug the device prior to flashing, turn it completely off (remove battery to be sure) and the plug it in holding down U?

And what is the screen output while flashing? Lots of update on the percentage and/or amount of data transferred to the device etc etc?
