Can you imagine what the clone-scene would be like in about a year+ time when they make use of Cortex-A8 class cpu?? Infused with froyo+ OS.
Well, it does run on 1 gigahertz ARM Cortex-A8 processor with Android 2.1, comes with 7"x10" flatbed LCD with 1024x 600 resolution, 512M RAM, and 16 gigabytes of flash memory.

But it doesn't called iPuds or iPeds, it's called Zenithink. They've a very clear market position as an iPads-clone.

Intel is more that happy to sell Cortex-A8 processor in China anyway, so it's not that hard to manufacture a device out of it.

@9000: That is impressive. Except that it won't sell at sub-$200 price.
I'm guessing it'll be priced between $300-400... or even more. Which is still good value.

Open a paypal dispute, that will get the attention of the seller fast. Much faster than trying to contact him through Ebay. Also, Paypal has became biased toward the buyer, you are more likely to get your money back now than a while ago. Good luck.

It would be interesting to see the actual Ebay sale - any chance that you could put up a link?

Is that the price for one with 16GB flash?
Can you give links of its availability?
All the links I've found of it talks about it in proto stage...

You won't find it on the web. Zenithink is not at large as Apple which can cover whole production stages from designing, prototyping, manufacturing to wholesales. Actually they're actively seeking OEM partnership with larger brand for one of their VLSI ZT-180a since 2009 (yes, prior to official iPad announcement). What you've seen is not a prototype but a finished product after they've secured the fundings. You can considered this one is a manufacturing by-product of other OEM products which outsiders have no knowledge with.

In fact, it's pretty late if they're still talking about prototypes now, because according to manufacturers' news in China big brand like Huawei (attached) and ACorp are already manufacturing iPad clones.
