Hi all,

I have a few bookmarks on my home screens and they show a screenshot of the site as it was when I created the bookmark - is there any way to refresh this?

The bookmark images periodically update when you re-visit those sites.

Example:

I Google "maemo.org" through the Google bookmark.
The Bookmark now shows the result page instead of the main Google page.
(Some time later)
I revisit Google,
Bookmark goes back to normal.

This is a somewhat hit-and-miss thing, I haven't found a reliable way to restore the thumbnails.

That's interesting, as you'd expect it to show the new image of the Google homepage (ie the bookmark) and not http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...=&oq=&gs_rfai=

Still not seen mine update!

Since I posted this, not one of my bookmarks has updated it's icon image!

My bookmark images haven't changed during the entire time I've had the N900.

What I do is I remove the bookmarks, fire up the browser and login to a site and scroll around until the "picture" is just perfect and then I send the bookmark to the desktop.

There's a way to mod your bookmarks so they show the pic you want. Search the 'share your mods' thread i think it's posted in there somewhere or ask in that thread
