Hey guys,

Does anyone know if there is a desk dock/holder for the N900 that also charges the device/connects it to a PC via USB? Something like an iPhone dock where you just clip it in and the connector is built into the holder? Brodit are working on something for the car so wondered if anyone has developed a charging desk stand yet? I know fake has developed the black acrylic stand but I'm after one that will hold my N900 and charge it/connect it to my PC without me messing about with wires and stuff.

guess the problem is that the USB socket is on the short side of the phone, but you would place the phone in a landscape way on the the stand.

so the only way to solve this, without having to think about the wires, would be something to slide the phone into.

the palm pre's touchstone charger is quite slick. I wonder if something like this could be retro-fitted to the n900...

Some one hacked it on an HTC EVO 4G, so yes, it'd be possible.
