    Hi maemo!
    Today I got an update of Pidgin Extras Protocols: http://maemo.org/downloads/product/M...tra-protocols/
    After the update I can't connect anymore to ICQ. I tried different options but I didn't find a solution
    Where can I find the previous version?

    I second this - I have the same problem since this upgrade. Pidgin itself connects fine, though...
    I suppose we need an updated package for the integrated messenger?

    I don't want use Pidgin because the Maemo Messenger Software is doing a great job!
    I just want a download to the previous version to fix it. Nobody knows?

    @Spinal
    what!??

    Okay I solved the problem for me. Here how I did:

    1. go in the messenger offline
    2. add maemo extras-devel: http://wiki.maemo.org/Extras-devel
    3. update Pidgin Protocols plugin for Conversation and Contacts to version 0.9
    4. reboot the N900
    5. check ICQ account. you have to disable SSL.
    6. try = win (?)

    you should disable extras-devel after updating Pidgin Protocols plugin for Conversation and Contacts (see wiki).
    ICQ is working fine again on my N900.

    I disabled SSL, nothing happened, so I enabled it and disabled Use client login and than it worked
