Hello! I've just noticed that all the SMS that I send are logged as sent at 1:00 01/12/1999

Incoming SMS are logged with the propper date/time. The issue is only with Outgoing SMS

That's obviously not correct.

Anyone knows the reason and/or how to fix that??

They are correct, to be precise

24 hour clock (check)
Automatic Update (check)

Time Zone: GMT +2

Date: Thursday June 17th 2010

Time: 21:24 (at the time of writing this)

So... noone has a clue about this? I'm the only one with the issue?

It's curious that no matter when the SMS are sent, they are logged at precisely that time!

Well I'm bumping this, as it is a big issue at least to me, and I'm _sure_ that someone else has the problem too!

Time traveling FTW!

And on a serious note - the problem must lay in your cellphone network SMS service provider... Tried calling them?

I really dont think it has to do with Vodafone Spain. It wouldnt be my case only and that'd would have a media mess

Well you can always check, just to make sure
Either call them, send an SMS for someone and check the time - if its still "a message from the past" (), try putting your SIM card into another phone and send an SMS again from the other phone with your SIM card, and check the time again.
Try that, to rule out the possibility that the problem is actually not in your N900... Worth a shot I think.

i think the timestamp on outward messages comes from the phone, only received messages should have network time. hence why they would be correct.

yup, a quick fiddle with my clock settings confirms this. so the problems with the phone clock, have you tried changing the time? may just give the clock a kick up the a**e and make it behave.
