    the wifi connection have some dots lol what's that mean ?

    It meant that the wireless is either using a restriction login method or required activation. It is when you are connected, it will ask you to enter the account details like username and password.

    Some router using the registration by pressing one button connect profile. If you can connect to the wifi, you might not able to access anything.

    free public wifi, my girlfriend gets it in my house because shes on o2, im on orange and dont get it...grrrr

    Yep it's an ad-hoc connection as stated by Mega. I use it to create a connection to my pc and share the VPN of my PC.
