Hi,

I've tried to install a number of applications from the application manager and I get the message:
Unable to Install
Some Packages required for the installation are missing

looking at details, the problems tab shows different packages for each of the applications.

I've gotten this for the micro browser, rhapsody and skype. I can't believe those packages are broken so it must be my n800. I done some searching and didn't find anything that seemed pertinent but I have to admit I'm not really sure what I'm looking for.

Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

It really depends on what packages are missing. Make sure you've got the maemo, maemo contrib, and probably maemo-hackers repositories. Otherwise, post those missing packages here. If all else fails, a reflash will do it, but delete everything. (MicroB and Skype only work on the latest firmware...)

BTW if you do reflash, don't restore from backup to avoid problems.

thanks. I'll probably reflash - it's been two months since I last updated.
