I totally agree, just installed ... fennec is too slow to compete with microB, but opera is damn fast, very thought, I'm really using it in substitution of microB (and THAT's it).

Hope it eventually becomes official, at least with meego

dpkg says that it is missing a dependency, Python 2.5 runtime. I do have Python 2.5.4 installed. Should I just do a force install?

You know what would be great?

A version of Opera for maemo with geolocation enabled.

(I would also like html5 video but I won't push it. This time. )

No, the user interface is made with our own cross platform toolkit.

For low level interaction with the device, we use GTK along the various API extensions provided in Maemo.

You can disable automatic screen rotation in the settings.

As an alternative to changing the settings one can put the urlfilter.ini file in the /home/user/.opera directory.

Opera 10 is really promising, there are just two must-haves which I need to have for day to day browsing:

    Power Management Support
    Zoom to Column

    Thank you Opera Team.

Opera Mobile 10 is my main browser for quick surfing, love it.
Is there any chance we might see a native version of Opera Mini?

opera mini is basically opera mobile with permanent turbo mode.

Exactly. There is no need for Opera Mini in addition to Opera Mobile, on a device such as a N800 or N900.
