HELP!!!
Once my n900 got flashed because most of the applications didn't work. And now I've installed so many applications and it got a problem again...

I plugged it into my laptop to copy everything that I backed up before. And then I plugged it out and turn it off to switch the sim card. When I tried to turn it on, it shows the white screen, written "NOKIA" and then it starts all over again..

I read whatever thread about this rebooting and restarting issue and got flashing as the only way to get my phone working again...

I don't want to lose all my applications and start all over again so, can anybody tell me how to fix this??

flash the fiasco image only and then go to application manager and it will install all your apps as they will still be there, they would only dissapear if you flash the emmc image after the fiasco.

you have to press and hold 'U' key on n900 and then power on. It will be in usb program mode, a usb icon on top right corner would be visible. Then re-flash fiasco image.

Hi!

Reflashing isn't difficult when you know how to do it but there are some quirks, like needing to have a full battery before it lets you reflash. After having done it a couple of times, tried to write some comprehensive but simple-to-follow instructions for the procedure here.

Good luck!
