Hi,

Hi, Any Idea When - This would be a great fix as I'm currently being taunted by theme packages I can't use
Bug #5517 (https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5517) is now solved. There is an attachment on bugzilla with the deb package that solves the problem. It will take a while until it will be available in the repositories.

In canola I'm not able to see the photos taken by the camera and when using picasa plugin it is not possible to input username and password.
N900 stores the pictures taken by the camera in a different location which is not currently indexed by Canola.
I will post a deb that will fix the text input problem for pr 1.2 as soon as possible.

hi dear
I had installed canola 2 on my N900. pictures are doin fine but while playin audio or video, there is no outpu either from builtin speakers or earphones. can someone help?

Hi,

Loving Canola2 on the N900 at the moment, even with its know bugs etc (ie. themes).

However, the most annoying thing I am suffering with at the moment, and its probably something I have done wrong as I am still learning alot about the device and Maemo.

I have a load of tracks on my memory card, Canola picks them up and plays them fine. However, the audio level seems to reset on every new track!

I listen to music at work and keep the level fairly low (the office is quiet anyway) so I can hear the phone or if someone needs to speak to me. When the tracks change from one to the next the audio goes quite loud, 1 click of the rocker on the device will set it back to where it was (rocking it either way has the same effect).

Using the rocker to change volume or the onscreen slider appear to work fine, its just the change in audio output on track change that seems funny.

If anyone knows what I am doing wrong, or have setup wrong, I would appreciate the info.

Hi Tanis, it would be a big help for the developers to make a bug report out of your description.

You can do it here:
https://bugs.maemo.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=Canola

In this bug tracker it's easier to isolate issues and manage and fix them.

Jukey,

No problem, Ill have a play about with it at lunchtime today to confirm if it happens in all scenarios rather than just playing random which is what I do currently. Then will put a report together with as much detail as possible.
