Does anyone know if I can get OS maps onto my N900? I have a number of walks planned and would like to have my N900 as backup if I get lost. The walks will be off road so sat nav is useless. To some extent I maybe google maps will work, but I'm looking for something a bit more useful. Ideally I would like to use my N900 to record the routes, but I very much doubt that the battery will last that long!

May be Mappero (maemo-mapper) help you? I use Mappero with Topo Finland maps on my walk, bike and boat trips

UK OS maps are now free, has anyone looked at the format? It would certainly be good to get them working with Mappero.
