One last Question about 3D GPU,
did someone contact those guys over at http://code.google.com/p/rowboat/
if they are interested in helping getting andoid + 3D to work fpr n900?
Sounds cool. Altough it says OMAP35xx, it shouldn't have any problem with N900's 3430.
ive realised i cant install any apps or do much coz of the size of the partition is over 3gigs, I just followed the guide.
I am now trying to repartition it but the funny thing is that gparted says its formatted it but shows up in the computer section as if its not done anything, all the files are there.
this is really frustrating
1. "To be able to run NITDroid you need to flash your device."
If I flash, I am loosing my current Maemo-Installation?
I think it should be mentioned in the "warning" area.
2."Write "sudo su". Then you write "gparted"."
Is it confirmed that gparted should be replaced by using fdisk, because gparted-created-partition seems to cause problems?
Very interesting project!

GParted works good for me, so it should for everyone else(besides, GParted is easier to use IMO). And no the only flashing you do is flashing the kernel which doesn't affect the internal rootfs.
EDIT: Also to resize you'll need to unmount the disks, right click the one with Android and choose, unmount, then you can resize it.
same case here, scans the wifi, brings my connection but unable to obtained ip address
another thing i have noted is it shows signal bars in my wifi network, but as soon as i select it to connect. all the signal bars are gone.
just to make sure that my wifi signals are fine, i booted android 2.1 and its connected perfectly. so i guess there is something wrong in wifi threshold values in android 2.2
good job dj_steave, i just want to know, will android on the n900 be final ?? and will it have the android marketplace, and i don't know if you can do that, but try this, : an app called nitdroid that-when u pess it-restart the phone in android. that will be cool, anyway i'll try it on my phone when its stable and won't cause any damage, well at least just a bit of damage.
