    Configuration in android.etc.item

    ITEM_NAME="Android (external SD, partition 2)"
    ITEM_ID="android2"
    ITEM_DEVICE="${EXT_CARD}p2"
    ITEM_MODULES="mbcache jbd ext3 fat vfat"
    ITEM_FSTYPE="ext3"
    ITEM_FSOPTIONS="noatime,rw"

    I think my Mistake lies somewhere in this Configuration.
    Maybe you can try this?

    Replacing

    ITEM_DEVICE="${EXT_CARD}p2"

    with
    ITEM_DEVICE="mmcblk0p2"

    solved the problem

    I did replace it - put it kernel panics after that. - But Yes, The Lens has been closen.

    It says that there is no fiasco image ?

    Maybe i also need to replace ITEM_ID also ?

    @ ottoman - i think this feature isnīt implemented yet.
    More Importantly - looks like the new Entry in with
    ITEM_DEVICE="mmcblk0p2" was a good Idea.
    but now it says :Mounting "mmcblk0p2"
    mount: mounting /dev/mmcblk0p2 on mnt/new_root failed: no such device or address.

    any idea what this causes ?

    Seems that you do not have the partition mmcblk0p2 on your sd card.

    Right above the "mounting .." message it should show a list of the found partitions and their device paths. What does it show?

    right above it are several codes:
    mmc0 : host does not support reading read-only switch, assuming write-enable.
    mmc0: new high speed sdhc
    mmcblk0: SU04G 3,69GB <-- the whole Card
    mmcblk0: p1
    mmc1 new high speed MMC
    mmcblk1: mmc1:0001 MMC32G 29.8 GB
    mmcbl1: p1 p2 p3

    w8 a sec - does it mean that there is "no second partition" on the Card? oö

    EDIT

    Okay, just found one Problem and solved it. For some Reason I had to reformat again because Appleīs GUID removed the MBR.
    Now i am able to boot, but immediately after starting it starts to panic.
    like /sbin/preinit: line 360: sbin/fiasco-do-updat: not found
    /sbin/preinit: line 360 cannot open dev/console: no such file
    Kernel panic...

    So, does that mean that the Android version has been corrupted?
    btw itīs Froyo now ;-)

    Mhh looks like your "installation" is broken.

    Try again to uncompress the archive again (or redownload it?)

    You are using the correct zimage together with the froyo build?

    I got it to work here. Nice to play arround with. Thanks to the devs btw.
