Mine doesn't work today too, though last night I was able to access it and download some apps.

What's funny is that I can get to https://store.ovi.com and login successfully from my Safari browser on my mac... I tried using the Firefox for N900 browser and my login works ok. So is OVI store now hostile to the N900 microB browser and it's default user agent string? This change in behavious is recent; as of a few days ago, my logins to the OVI store using the microB browser were working fine.

Edit: has this been reported to Nokia -- they manage the OVI store, no? Check your user agent string by pointing your browser here

Mine is "Maemo browser", is it the correct user agent? can you post your string if it is working?

That's the changed User Agent string.

Settings > Hide User Agent > Remove.

(I'm also having this problem as well. Good thing I already downloaded all there is to download... )

Downloading from the ovi repository still works for me - though the web interface also says my device is not supported. I fired off email to both ovi and nokia about this, though being a Sunday I don't really expect any answer for a day or two.

    For info,

for me it works fine if I have English (UK) as device language.
Since I was on a travel I've tested it in Spain, France and Switzerland through both GPRS and WiFi in the last 24 hours.

Everywhere it broke only when I've switched to the Greek language (and unfortunately didn't think about testing using a third language).

I think that Nokia is performing an upgrade of ovi store. Maybe they ll put tons of cool apps this time lol (that they been secretly developing for us)

The default user Agent string for microB should be,

    Code:
    Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux armv7l; en-US; rv:1.9.2b6pre) Gecko/20100318 Firefox/3.5 Maemo Browser 1.7.4.8 RX-51 N900
But is not currently accepted by the OVI store, neither is your string "Maemo browser". The one used by the Mozilla browser for the N900 is, (transcribed by hand as this browser doesn't yet support mouse mode to copy text):

    Code:
    Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux armv7l; en-US; rv:1.9.2.1) Gecko/20100330 Firefox/3.6.1 Fennec/1.0.1
and it works for me in accessing store.ovi.com. You can reset the default user agent string in microB with the "Hide User Agent" addon, as has been described elsewhere in the thread.

Edit: I programmed the above user agent string into microB and I am able to go to 'store.ovi.com' and do a successful login... so this may be used as a workaround for now.

In contrast, trying to go to 'store.ovi.mobi' gives me the usual "Device not supported". Trying to get to the store via the OVI icon in the apps menu gives me the usual error panel advisory that I need to update my Maemo 5 installation!
