Kinda problem, there is no gles2n64.conf or similar file in /home/user/.mupen64plus for me. I am sure its the right folder.
The plugin itself is just binary and not text.
Help?
It doesnt matter if i have the program in /home, does it?
If it helps, can i move the file there manually?
Can someone send me this file?
Lots of .conf files seem to be missing.
gles2n64 isnt in the config folder.

I get Segmentation Fault when trying to run.

Any ideas?

EDIT: Nevermind, I fixed it by deleting all the config files and running the application again.

Worked flawlessy (well, some slowdowns but that's to expect, it loaded and seemed to run fine).

Thanks.

@IzzehO

Do you think you could upload your blight_input.conf?

Thanks.

When I'm trying to run the mupen64plus-file i get a Permission denied error. I have made chmod +x and chmod 777 for it. What should I do?

EDIT: Solved it, I didnt realise that I was using the ntfs-filesystem using MyDocs (wich doesn't support linuxes file permissions).

For those having issues. Read my guide again. Ensure you ARE NOT root for any of the steps, that you do a first run of ./mupen64plus which installs the .mupen64plus folder and the conf files and that you have extracted both the source and binary files to the same folder.

For rhose getting seg faults... chances are its your filename... mupen64 really doesn't like brackets, spaces or special characters in filenames: rename em something simple. Also note your best bet is with first party nintendo games as most third party developers has to use tweaks and hacks to get their games to run.

Alot of game compatability has been fixed up in more recent versions... but we unfortunately don't have anyone to compile these. (for example Super Smash Bros and Perfect Dark run).

@Reffyyyy
I currently haven't bothered getting it to work with keyboard ( don't know what the standard is as unicode and SDLkey doesn't work - this can be solved using the GUI config in Ubuntu I guess) but the following should work perfectly for PS3 controller:

Is there any full overview?

S is R from memory. But thats why we need blight_input working as the mupen64_input has weird mapping (you'll find its mapped to del, end, home for c buttons and alt for z etc. I'll look in to it a bit but I'd much rather just have someone recompile the latest source with GUI as this version hardly works anyway.

No Start-button... kinda useless then.
Cant take out the Kokiri sword in OoT.
.Will it be long to wait for the GUI-version?
The xterm-version is kinda smooth, not really slow.
