Those are the ones. All the app_install*.png -files. If you're talking about icons that catorize (and app manager) is using as category icon.

Did you mean the icons shown at the application manager as category icons? And are those same icons that are being used by catorize (I don't have it installed atm)?

Yep! Those are the app_install -icons. Icons on the screenshot you posted are from alpha -theme's icons (under /usr/share/themes/alpha/backgrounds).

LOL you're absolutely right, they're originally 128 - I halved the size of my app menu items to fit them all on one screen without needing to scroll!
