Iphone can see the wifi signal from n900 and catch it, but when I choose the DHCP option in iphone, iphone gets the IP starting with 169.XXX.XXX.XXX and iphone cannot access to the internet.
But I realized that if I manually assigned the ip starting with 10.XXX.XXX.XXX, it works.
I'm just wondering the IP starting with 169.XXX, is from n900 or iphone automatically put the ip in dhcp. Because other laptops can get the ip starting with 10.XXX.XXX with no problems in dhcp and I don't need to put the fixed ip (10.XXX).
to connect the hotspot. Is it natural in ad-hoc network wep process or do I miss something?
