I'm hopping somebody can help me. I'm system developer for a long time, I already worked with C ( a little) 10 years ago.
Now, I've installed SDK Nokia 1.0, that looks like a nice tool to start to make softwares to N900 (and symbian devices).
But, I have a question related to UI creation on this device. After create a screen, when we run with the Simulator, the controls (checkbox, slidebar, etc) show in one way, but after compiled and running on N900, the sizes are different. So I'm having problem to create a good interface on Simulator, because after build everything changes.
My questions are:
1) Is there any UI manual, some tips how to proceed or must be compile and try ?
2) Is there some C++ manual that can help me (to starters) ?
3) It is possible to simulate the new application considering the Theme/Color Scheme/Controls existing on the N900 device ?
Thanks, I really want to start make applications to N900, to make our community proud of our great Maemo/N900.
