There is a loopable wallpapers category:
http://www.n900wallpapers.com/loopable
(although loopable images can be found in other categories, as well
You can easily make your own from panoramic images
Most of the themes contain them
There are some on the device memory by default

prismic is three clicks and done, otherwise you must create a file that lists every wallpaper in the set etc....

i make them with paint on windows:P just some turnin (90 degrees) cut an paste etc, as long if its wide enough!, i have 3 desktops so 480 * 3 = the minium size

Or then you can just put a 3200x480 image in MyDocs/.images and the background selecting tool recognizes it as image set.
