are basedir and userdir hardcoded? :(

i'd like to have my basedir in an alternative location. in quake (where hexen2 is derived from), one can set basedir as a variable from the command line.

I get a crash to desktop when I try to enter the portal leading to the first boss battle (Famine).

EDIT: It happens with all boss stages.

You need the original game for this

- install game in PC (or find the way to extract pak0.pak file)
- connect phone in mass storage mode
- find and copy pak0.pak file to N900 (root folder)
- disconnect phone
- open terminal and type:
cp /home/user/MyDocs/pak0.pak /home/user/MyDocs/.hexen/data1
- enjoy

1. Install Hexen 2 from Extras-testing,
2. Make sure your Hexen 2 is patched to the latest version.
3. Copy your data-files (pak0.pak and pak1.pak) from your Hexen 2 installation directory from your PC to your .hexen2/data1 directory located in the first directory that comes up when you connect your N900 to your PC
4. Disconnect your N900 from your PC
5. Launch Hexen 2 and enjoy!

No problem, don't edit the post.
You have pak0.pak and pak1.pak. I have only pak0.pak. Maybe a different version... the fact is: you need to copy all .pak files you have in the game.
