Hmm. I live in Tampere but during Akademy I´m away. It would have been nice to drive people around and show some sights of our little city.

It´s getting pretty warm so let´s hope that next week is as beautiful as this one. If weather is good and you have time then you could go to little sightseeing Link1 & Link 2 trip on boat or at least go walking to Pyynikki & näkötorni. These places are pretty average & normal to finnish people but you never know what people from other countries appreciate

And If you like to experience city by bike:

Have fun!

.edit
Looks like there is some bike tours and other program for attendees of Akademy

Ack! Tried to reserve train online but after selecting options there was no way to purchase. I'm guessing due to this message:

The booking office is open from 6.00 to 23.30 GMT +2
So... no 24 hour online booking...

EDIT: good things come to wait. Booking office opened, and I have my ticket!

LOL, that's a bit strange for a online service :P

Exactly what I thought. Oh well, I printed my ticket and I'm counting the minutes!

If transportation is needed, I can pickup people from the train station and drive them to Plevna - or anywhere else.

I think at least Texrat will have a couple of suitcases but he probably won't see this in time. He's taking a train that arrives in Tampere at 17:52 (IC 55).
