If you have an internet connection you can try

- the web versions of any translator
- Gtranslate
- Qtranslate

(the last two use Google's services I believe).

Or if you need offline I think you could try mdictionary but you can't type in a word. But you might find a dictionary file that has the translations.

I like gTranslate.. It uses e-speak to speak up the words, sentences and translations.

Follow these directions to get Mstardict app to work:

http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=700376&postcount=4

So basically when you first ran mstardict program it should have created a mstardict folder in the root directory when you connec your n900 via usb mass storage optiion not the pc suite option, anyways when you go here:

http://xdxf.revdanica.com/down2/inde...info_limit=256

search for the language you want to download which me I did from English to Spanish; Castalian, so heres the file name: stardict-comn_sdict05_eng-spa-2.4.2.tar.bz2

Download to desktop of your pc and extract to desktop and within the first folde rof the extracted theres going to be another folder with couple files in there well copy this folder into the mstardict folder thats already in the n900 root directory, then unmount the n900 at bottom right corner of your windows dektop like you normally would with a flash drive, then load up mstardict app from n900 and it should work type a english word and test it.
