Widget to turn on / off Data access

    Hi,
I am looking for a desktop widget to turn on / off Data access (T-Mobile, not WiFi). I've tried various tools but haven't found anything. I have the widget that turns on / off BT which is great.

I tether using BT and so can turn on /off BT easily but turning on / off Data requires a few more clicks. Anything out there that can do that?

I never touch WiFi. 3G is my main data access at home for my laptop. Thanks.

I do believe that the ConnectNow widget does this.

Sort of. I find that with the N900 it has trouble managing local data access and data from a tethered connection whether its usb, bt or wifi at the same time. Because I switch back and forth all the time between tethered and untethered I would like a quick widget like the BT widget to connect and disconnect from data.

btw, when I tether I don't have to turn off data access for the phone but I find my laptop accesses data faster when I turn off phone data.

i prefer giving net access to selected apps
getting my facebook widget updated when i dont need it is jus pure waste
java in s60v5 had this option of when to allow internet access
    that was handy indeed

extras-testing, I just promoted for extras.
You have to wait at least ten days until it is
    available in extras.

Never mind, I just found it. I guess it just appeared in extras-testing. I have downloaded it and it works PERFECT, exactly what I needed. Thanks!

One of the many reasons I love my phone and the Maemo community.
