I accidentally left my n900 running mupen64plus at 950mhz in my pocket for 4 hours, i open it (quite warm) and the game is still running and still got 43% battery
his battery was probably 100%
in my case, i tested with messegner and light use with 500-805 at default kernel and it lasted around 10 hours so yea
thats nothing new
someone got tips on saving battery life?
cpu based tips and i know 500 is supposed to save battery but it jus doesnt :S
if someone can tell me what sampling rate and powersave_bais , ignore nice load and smartreflex along with vdd1 and vdd2 mean, perhaps i can test things out.. <.<
250 is laggy
so 500 is recommended min for me
and lol at 1150
dun need that much
805 is fine
i was kinda more interested in volt and dsp and other things present in the template
I dont listen to music with it as I use an ipod touch.
I dont play games on it as I again use my ipod touch if im really bored.
I do send loads of texts and make and rcv calls.
I do use it heavily for the internet.
I do use auto disconnect and have tweaked the usual settings like screen brightness etc etc.
I do power it down at night.
You can overclock but im not convinced it wont decrease the life of the fone !
I 100% do not have terrible battery life.
Battery lasts a couple of days.
Just for a little balance go and look at other user forum threads concerning their smart fones and standard fones and you will see its a bug bear across the board on battery life ! Always has been.
Nature of the bear !
Carry a spare battery or have a charger/usb cable where you work i order to give it a charge if required.
Did you guys fully charge and discharge the battery when you first got your n900?
I use my n900 tons throughout the day and generally only need to recharge every second night. Its clocked at 1Ghz and used everyday for about 2 hours of music, 30 min of gaming and about 30 minutes of calls.
Texting about once twice an hour. Wifis on auto connect too....
Umm I only use the data monitor and ip widget, nothing more.
