Nokia Messaging Now Available on TMO - USA: What are your experiences?

For a few months now, Nokia Messaging has not been available for TMO users; as an alternative, TMO users have had to resort to inserting an AT&T sim card in their N900, adding Nokia Messaging, removing the AT&T sim card, then reinserting the TMO card.

Yesterday, I observed that NM is now available using my TMO card. I have recently added it, leaving my Modest accounts extant. I would be interested in knowing other N900 users' experiences.

Just checked and yes it is now available through tmobile sim. However, after setting it up I'm not getting the response times I used to get back in February when I first had it running. Messages take minutes to send, and incoming messages seem to never arrive even after pressing send & receive. Going to delete my imap gmails to try it with Nokia Messaging alone. Will test more and report back, but thanks for letting us know it is available now.

Hmmm I can add nokia messaging again however I am still having major problems unfortunately...

The problems I have having are:

    1) After setting up the Nokia Messaging account and entering my correct username and password it continually prompts me for my password every sync interval

    2) After setting up nokia messaging I navigate into my nokia messaging account in the email client and no mailboxes show up even though I have four mailboxes setup on the nokia messaging website.

I would think that if you mailboxes do not show in the Nokia Messaging account, then maybe the problem is with your account at the Nokia Messaging website. Have you checked your account there to make sure all is in order?

I'm getting responses within 5 seconds of their hitting my web mailbox. My problem is that although the N900 (with its yellow flash) indicates that an email has arrived, when I navigate to Nokia Messaging on the phone, there is no indication which of my 3 mail boxes has received the message.

Yes I just logged into email.nokia.com and all four of my mailboxes are all still setup there... Dont know what is going on here!

Nokia messaging worked perfectly for me up to about a month ago and then it continually prompted for a password even though I was entering the correct password. At that point I deleted nokia messaging and manually added my gmail and hotmail accounts.

As I am on tmobile in the US I could not add nokia messaging back until now....

After a few syncs the lags are gone and emails arrive in about 10 seconds. Good to have this back! Now let's hope battery life isn't compromised.
