When I installed Easy Debian on my 'test' n810, and it installed Iceweasel, Epiphany, GIMP, Open Office, etc. into the menus on Maemo.

So, then I tried it in Maemo. Iceweasel and Open Office showed up, but not Gimp. I'd like to install Icedove, and have installed Stellarium, and have these, along with Gimp, accessible from the Maemo desktop. Is there any way of doing this?

I've had a look around, and there is something for 'Hildon', is the process similar for Maemo 5?

    Thanks.

    Thanks,

I wasn't sure if this was for Maemo 5 or an earlier version. Now all I need to do is figure out how I get to type characters like '[' ']' into vi using this keyboard...

    Mish.

That looks interesting - there is no way of getting these characters without remapping the keyboard? Interesting. I guess that means copying an existing file, renaming and editing the fields.

Duh... it just sunk in while walking the dog - open a terminal, and type 'debbie gimp'.
