I have the same problem too - it doesn't seem to be dependend on the theme by the way, tried multiple themes but everyone still gives the glitch when a call comes in.

This is still annoying as hell.

Use 2 keyboard layouts on N900? Vote for this bug to enable layout switching when nothing is typed.
Another bug on dual layouts: several symbols are written in wrong layout when typing in just opened contact chooser. Please vote.
Third one: ctrl types in A in Russian layout on the desktop.

By the time the new PR comes out, I might as well get a new one - my staying power and loyalty is draining each day, thanks to Nokia do-it-yourself-service approach.

This is an extremely annoying bug

I started this thread yesterday with a suggested fix :

hawaii has posted a solution of sorts which I have yet to try...perhaps if there's more activity on the linked thread, a dev might be tempted to write the suggested fix

The bug has been fixed and maybe someone could compile the current fixed hildon-desktop to fix it without waiting for PR1.3!?

I have wondering this too if this fix would be available earlier than with next PR. After all, its Linux and thereby in my opinion it shouldn't be difficult to fix such annoying bugs as it has been done in big linux releases with critical updates.

Right this one is annoying me too. I'll hit answer a dozen times, and it doesn't answer, just silences the phone, then I'll find the phone app is still open and ringing but has gone back to the desktop.

The screen flickers a few times as well when I try and answer, and I have turned the automatic orientation off so it is portrait as standard.
