hi, can anyone please help me add absolute radio to my internet radio bookmarks. i can get the radio stream through my browser but i dont know what to put in the web address bar in 'add bookmark' (internet radio). i had the same problem with kiss 100 but someone had posted a link in one of the forums with the address and it works perfectly. if anyone knows how and could let me know or even supply a link of what the address needs to be i would be very greatfull. many thanks, bret.

Try to adding one of these URLs:

    Absolute 80s - http://player.absoluteradio.co.uk/co...sx?service=ab8

    Absolute Classic Rock - http://player.absoluteradio.co.uk/co...sx?service=abc

    Absolute 90s - http://player.absoluteradio.co.uk/co...sx?service=ab9

    Dabbl - http://network.absoluteradio.co.uk/c...asx?service=al

Sorry I did not try those. But let me know if that doesn't work.

    Akash.

are you using a pc? i cant seem to find any extra info from my n900. is there a certian thing i should be looking for to save me asking again if i need another station? do you know if these stations work using the fm transmitter as it would be like having a dab radio in my car

Go to www.radiofeeds.co.uk, and open the links in media player. Works champion for me on my N810.

I think that they are also in the Nokia internet radio directory.

    Yes, I'm using a PC.

Once you open the radio station in your Media Player, just bookmark it. And you can play it anytime from your Media Player bookmarks. (I guess you already added a bookmark since you were asking for a URL.)

Well if you're good with HTML, you can look into the source code of any page where your desired radio station is playing, and find out the URL that the embedded flash player is streaming from. Dunno how to explain that in a better way. :P

Yes, the FM transmitter should work. I have tried transmitting a streaming radio station to a car radio, and it has worked great for me.

Google `absolute radio listen on your computer`

Click on the ogg links *if* you've added OGG support, otherwise click on the MP3 stream that you want. I've got them all bookmarked and listen. You'll need to know that in the evening UK time their servers do tend to get busy and are hard to get a connection sometime.

And the link, in case you don't feel like googling...
    http://www.absoluteradio.co.uk/liste..._computer.html
(follow that link with your n900, click on the appropriate link, once it's playing add it as a bookmark)
