surely it couldnt take too long and im not the only one offering donations. Shouldnt start things if you dont intend to complete it!
.... And I'm sure that ungrateful attitude will make devs want to jump right back into it. So they shouldn't have started VGBA at all if they can't provide updates at a speed satisfactory to you? Even with its faults, the emulator is still playable and it's free.

erm. you tell me when the last update was.

Ungrateful but offering money? Hmm sorry if I contradicted my attitude!

can any one say how well the emu runs overclocked at say 800? I just REALLY wana play doom2 with sound, it's such a shame as I got soooo excited when I found out that there was a version of doom for the gba!

Obviously an update to the emu would be much appreciated and preferable to over clocking as Im still an oc virgin

Spotfist, why don't you play snes version of doom? It's pretty good. Cool music and sound effects
And Snes emulation is waaaaaay better on n900.

Not sure why he hasn't opted for this. He seems obsessed with getting his hands on it (even so far as to try the N64 version)... but hell... take your pick of an emulator and its got a Doom port:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Versions_and_ports_of_Doom

Chances are even DOSBOX could run it with some work.

On topic, however, some of our hope may lie in Pandora devs getting a nice, clean version up and running that can be ported to Maemo.

Yes I am totally obsessed! Prboom I thought was theeee one but alas it has issues with the music and to be honest It's just not the same without the music.

I did have a look at the snes version but alas it's just not as good looking as the gba version... It's pixelated but still looks more complete, plus is doom2

Izzeho, just rubbing it in my face, I have gone on and on about how it should be runnin in dosbox, to a point where I am moaning about it lol DOSbox is probably in the same state as VGBA, needs a bit of tweeking but there's no person interested I tried heretic and didn't get past the loading... Perhaps when PSX4ALL is complete I can play doom hehe

    Mine's OC'd at 850mhz and I don't see much improvement.

i run my vgba on high resolution of images and sounds. the game runs so slow in that state, but overclocking does make it faster.
