I heard 1.3 will have Retina detection and no-touch
- Phone unlocks when it sees your face. If someone else uses the phone it uses their profile and their apps. Yes, your apps and data move with you even if you someone else's N900.
- To move between screens you swipe with your eye from left to right and vice versa
- To select an app you look at an icon and smile or wink or nod your head or blink
- To close the app, scrunch your nose while looking at the app. To force close, scrunch your eyebrows and look mean in addition to scrunching your nose.
- When you squint it zooms in, open your eyes wide and it zooms out.
- To type you look at the letters, kinda like Swype but for your eye
- There's no portrait or landscape per se. Depending on how you rotate the phone the icons and screen stays perfectly oriented to your eye, so full 360 degree retina orientation. If you lie sideways it knows that and adjusts accordingly.
- To turn the volume up / down you look at the volume widget and lean your ear toward / away from the phone
I heard that for 1.4 Bluetooth 5 supports the cerebral interface and the phone will project into our brain. I'm going to skip 1.3 and wait for 1.4 because I like to wear sunglasses and am too lazy to use facial expressions.
