Guys,
Wanting to make the desktop widgets clear. I am sure I saw these or at least a post about them some threads back though can't find it now.
Would it be possible for someone to change the FMTX widget and button to clear and text to blue, leaving the red and blue on off the same?
Unzip to your MyDocs folder and then copy entire directory. Can't recall exactly what the command was I used (trial and error methodology being a linux noob) but I think it went something like:
. Can't recall to be honest, but got there in the end.
I'm sure if I've got it wrong one of the linux bods on here will sort out my erroneous posting.
All of the standard white icons are in there and chromed. Need to find the 2G, 2.5G, 3G and 3.5G ones to finish the job, and also if anyone knows where to find the graphics for the CPU-MEM applet I can run those through the filter too. Cheers all
I think what he ment was to have fully static wallpaper and only icons would move when you swipe the screen.
Would indeed be a cool looking feature!
Well couldn't it be done with a solid color background or something with stripes horizontal? Yes i know it wouldn't be you choice of wich ever .png, but maybe it would look cool to or a way to test it. Maybe somebody should make a brainstorm or request for it
Anyone know how I can make the display come back on faster/sooner during a call after the phone has left my face? e.g. speed up the response time of the proximity sensor and / or the display.

I'd have a look through the transitions.ini, I'm sure that there are a few settings in there that'll do it- one (if I remember rightly) controls something like the number of angles the screen physically flips through (so less angles = quicker flip overall), and failing that you could edit the transition time itself for that action making it quicker.
EDIT: Or just use my transition file, it might do the trick straight if you're not already using a custom transition.ini

how to apply this? i am absolute noob to all this.. please help
That's some of the settings from a custom transitions.ini, the one I linked a few posts ago has the wave effect and quite tight transition times so if you just want to try it to see how it looks (as opposed to modifying your own) I'd suggest starting with that.
The file needs to be put in the main folder of the current theme you are using, which will usually be opt/usr/share/themes/YOUR THEME - I stress usually because it does vary from theme to theme
D4rklar,
I double checked and couldn't find for the Alpha theme, so I went searching. I think i found it in hildon-desktop. Is that maybe a master file?
