PQI Class 6 (edited original posting.) It is the same card the previous owner was using...not sure if he used it internally or externally. After I saw the posts that suggested the external slot could be an issue I installed the card to the internal slot.
Good poll. That's exactly what i'm trying to find out in this post as well. If it turns out that the internal slot works well, we can just buy the biggest card available and stick it in the internal slot. Ah, and send the invoice for the new card to Nokia, of course.
2GB microSD in external slot (with adapter, of course). Started getting read-only errors. Cannot successfully format in either Windows or a Canon digital camera.

Ton.
Or just change them under guarantee, Kingston = lifetime guarantee
I always used the USB connection (i don't have a cardreader nor a PC with SD slot) and never had problems. My problems started a while after photos were copied on my card using a laptop with card reader using Vista.
Dunno if it's related, but since we cannot track the source of the problem i just throw this in.
