It gets really sluggish after 5 days or so. Apparently, due to swap performance issues, although there may be something else.

You can always use build-in 'backup' option to refresh n900 a bit.

6 weeks plus for me and before that I forgot the car charger so it just ran flat on me. I've just reflashed it this morning due to a problem of my own making this morning. So starting from zero again. It never runs slow, or crashes for me. The problem was application manager throwing a wobbly, all good now.
