Is there any easy and quick way to get to N810 the missing files
that are needed for the installation of new applications and their updating? I do not want to make the flashing operations of http://wiki.maemo.org/Updating_the_tablet_firmware .

I have N810, and its latest updating of OS2008 was done online to v. 4.2008.30-2. The installation of OS2008 Feature upgrade and Almost TI , and the upgrading of maemo-mapper and MPlayer-Plugin fail. Each installation end with an error notice about a missing file. Among them are:
libhildonfm2 (=1.20,5),
pre-installed-documentation-rx44 (=5.4),
libc6-dev | libc-dev (for libhttrack-dev).

I have installed several applications and tuned the N810 for WLAN etc, and do not want to spend one or two days of my holidays with flashing etc - I'm a newbie with OS2008. This is why I ask whether I could add the missing files somehow to N810, and then continue trying to install the applications and to make some updates. If yes, from where could I download the above files?

I just noticed this. (This might have gotten more attention in the Diablo or N810 area.)

You may know this already, but I'll say it just so we're on the same page. You're not running the most current version of Diablo. (See also this.) According to Nokia, there is no way to convert to the latest version except by flashing.

I can say it would be impossible to get around this sneakily, but I'm not aware of people doing it. If you want to try, you'll probably be on your own.
