I am very disappointed with the way Nokia does business! My recent
application download was unsuccessful with an error message "purchase session has expired". No download link has been sent to me. However, Nokia still charge me for the application. And they have refused to refund.

After the first download was failed I tried again with a different username. I got the same error message. Then I decided to download another application which merely does the same thing, it was successful this time. So why should I be paying for the unsuccessful application (and they are charging me twice too)!

But as Tiboric asked, did you first try returning to the store using your first username to downloading the application again from your purchase history? The Ovi Store will allow you to redownload items you've purchased in the past without repaying.

The download process stop right at the payment stage. NO download link has been sent to me! There is no way I can find the application in my Ovi Store!

They don't send you download link, they only send a receipt of the purchase and after you have purchased an app, go to the app's page and the "Purchase" button has changed to "Download".

Not sure if it is because of different phones or the system varies from country to country. They did send me download links with my other Ovi store application purchases!

Go to the advanced search of this forum, search for ovi and author: benny1967

you'll find tons of posts by me that make it quite clear how much i hate and condemn everything that has ovi in its name... which includes the store.

but i'm getting the feeling now that people lose perspective... the store does work for most of us. and given that it has to operate worldwide, for a variety of models, payment methods and legislations, that''s quite something.

now you may be one of the few unlucky ones who have troubles with ovi store. i'll give you that. but don't you think that a thread title like "Think twice before you download application from Ovi Store!" is a little bit too much? after all: you don't spend real money there. you can download free apps to test if it works at all. you can download cheap apps to see if the payment mechanism works for you. it's not as if they rob your bank account.

Yeah.. I also thought this thread was gonna talk about something fundamentally wrong with the Ovi Store (future proofing your purchase, drm related, etc)...

    Try emailing their customer support...
