you'll find tons of posts by me that make it quite clear how much i hate and condemn everything that has ovi in its name... which includes the store.

but i'm getting the feeling now that people lose perspective... the store does work for most of us. and given that it has to operate worldwide, for a variety of models, payment methods and legislations, that''s quite something.

now you may be one of the few unlucky ones who have troubles with ovi store. i'll give you that. but don't you think that a thread title like "Think twice before you download application from Ovi Store!" is a little bit too much? after all: you don't spend real money there. you can download free apps to test if it works at all. you can download cheap apps to see if the payment mechanism works for you. it's not as if they rob your bank account.
    Thanks for your words.
Considering the message shown on my phone "purchase session has expired", would anyone think that the trade is completed? If not, why should they be charging me? Robbing big money is rob, robbing small money is rob too!

    Try emailing their customer support...
I have emails to them twice and talked to their customer services five times over the last 3 weeks. I repeated the whole story 4 times and every time the customer services say they would ask the support team to follow the case, then the support team say the same thing that they will ask the customer services to follow the case.

No body take on any responsibilities. Not sure if it is the same in your countries. This is Hong Kong.

I can't tell for sure what you're doing because you seem a little erratic in your posts, but I get the impression you're doing something wrong.

I'm just saying it as I see it before you respond to this as if I'm making it not work.

Have you clicked the button that says "My Stuff" - your downloads will be in there if you have purchased them.

    Hope this helps.

I am actually an Iphone user!

On that occasion my friend asked me to help her in blocking unwanted phone calls. So I put my simm card into her Nokia phone. I tried downloading the Black Mail..... stuff, it stopped right at the payment stage. No download of anykind has started. I tried again with a different username, the same happen. I went on to download the Advanced Blocker, they send me a download link and it work this time.

I wont be able to try you recommendation of going to "My stuff" now as I am using my own Iphone. Even if I were using the Nokia phone, I wont need that Black Mail stuff again since I would be using the Advanced blocker already.

I'm a little confused why you're posting here - you don't have a Maemo device and the application you're posting about isn't for Maemo (nor can I find it on the Ovi store at all).

The fact that I am using an Iphone now doesnt necessarily mean that I dont have access to an Nokia phone previously.

I made a mistake to the application name, it should be called "
    BlackBaller Call & SMS Filter"

    Sorry

That app is not available for N900... it's a symbian app.
