Using pidgin for yahoo contacts. When I select new IM in conversations it says select contacts - no contacts listed but I can go to contacts and send/receive an IM.
Anyone experiencing the same issue?

If you connect using the sanctioned IM protocols, (i.e. not Pidgin) then when you are in conversations and you select IM, they will show up in there okay.

Conversations is a closed source application, so I don't think there is any way to integrate Pidgin in to it. It'd be nice though.

I hope I'm right about this - I have had this problem before, I just switched away from Pidgin to resolve it.

does the inbuilt IM app support yahoo?

deleted my yahoo account and reinstalled pigdin.
Now it doesnt login and accout cant be created.
